According to the setup guide the multi-purpose LED indicator should should begin pulsing green but instead just shows a solid red. 1: I bought the hardware and brought the system up to functional. That might be a workaround if you want to use the bluetooth connection (like me). Following the instructions in the foldout setup guide, after receiving a Harpoon RGB Wireless mouse I plug it into a charged USB connection. ![]() But since brightness setting appears to be saved onboard (don't know why), we can turn RGB completely off while wired or 2.4G connected and it will remain off when over bluetooth. That also means we're stuck to that standard rainbow configuration. That's why when you connect the mouse over bluetooth or to a new computer (in which the iCUE software is not installed) it won't load your lightning preferences (as it won't load your software profiles). That means the profiles you create (in which your personal lightning effects configuration are included) won't be saved onboard (on the hardware itself). Harpoon mouse doesn't have "hardware profile". For example in FPS games, I cant spray the gun as the mouse just stops after I hold the left click for a couple of seconds, and then I have to click again. Sometimes if I try to click and hold to drag, Im not able to. If its bluetooth connected to your computer, it wont appear as a connected device, and won't apply your software profiles. The left mouse button on my Harpoon RGB Pro is having some issues. My mouse has been unresponsive from the morning and there is a white led blinking constantly. So, after two and a half days it got charged to like 86 on BT, and when connect it with cable it says 100. And thats the only way you can see battery level in percents. iCUE software will recognize Harpoon mouse only if its wired or 2.4G connected. For anybody with the same problem you can pair it via Bluetooth to your Windows laptop and see battery level in percentage. I ordered it off of Best Buy online but I didn't get a warranty because I didn't expect this to happen, just in case that info would be useful.I got mine today and also had / have that doubt.Īfter some research, here's my conclusions: and is an affordable rugged mouse The Corsair RGB Elite features an. ![]() This area is for troubleshooting systems. The Corsair Harpoon is on the budget side of the spectrum which makes it a good. I tried to use bluetooth with Ubuntu and it worked so I know for a fact that the mouse is not faulty. Hello Prateek, I think you posted in the wrong board. 1 Posted JI recently bought a corsair harpoon, using the 2.4ghz dongle it worked just fine but trying to use it via bluetooth with windows and it would not appear or pair. After using it daily I have noticed that after like around 10 left clicks the 11th click is a double click. Do I just have to buy a new one? I don't know what to do with it since the main reason I bought the thing doesn't even work. I bougth Corsair Harpoon RGB Pro 3 weeks ago from amazon INDIA. ![]() I just got this mouse as a replacement for my old wireless mouse and I even put the dongle in the same spot as the old one since it worked just fine there. When I click "USB Wireless receiver pairing" it says it was successful but as soon as I unplug the wire it disconnects and acts as if the mouse is off even when I get it to "work". Corsair mouse keeps disconnecting: Corsair is known for its gaming-based mice. To get rid of this follow our methods carefully. The only way I can get it to "work" is if I force an update while the dongle and the mouse are plugged in then unplug the wire, but once I turn the mouse off it will not reconnect unless I do that again. If you want to keep it within the Corsair family, another excellent option is the Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless mouse, which offers connectivity via Slipstream and Bluetooth, and it charges over USB. Mouse keeps disconnecting and reconnecting windows 10: Here, under this user’s mouse gets disconnected then suddenly reconnects. Using Bluetooth and the wire work perfectly fine it's just the slipstream technology that's being unresponsive. I downloaded the iCUE software and updated the mouse and dongle but the slipstream feature refuses to work correctly. I was wondering if I was missing anything. ![]()
